I worked at my mom's office at Kane&Associates for a while.All I did was answer the phone and faxed some papers and organized the mail.The over all experience was ok.While I worked at my mom's office there were some people there to help me and I learned a lot from them.For example sometimes the phone would ring and there would sometimes be people who are rude and some people who are really nice.Also when I head into the office there would be a whole pile of mail on the counter and I had to sort them out by each co-worker's name or sometimes their last name.Sometimes I even had to walk up to the fax machine and there would be a stack of papers for either Jerry or some other co-worker.I learned some of the co-workers at my mom's office are really nice and they try to help me out as much as they can.Some of the co-workers were a little nosy about what I sometimes do at the office and I didn't have to respond to any of their questions just focus on my internship job.
If I have a certain question about some people on the other end of the line and they are looking for one of the co-workers I put them into my mom's co-worker's voicemail if they are not around in the office.While working really hard in the office I usually get a lunch break for 15 minutes then its back to work picking up the phone and helping the mail-man point to where to put the mail which is on top of my desk and I'd go to the end of the hall and sort out the mail then check the fax machine like always and put some very important documents onto Jerry's desk and I leave back to the receptionists desk and answer more phone calls till my job is finished and wait for the next day to come then back at the office.
